IMPOUND PROGRAM

Vehicle Impound Program in the Event That Your Vehicle Has Been Impounded

The following is a guideline of the necessary paperwork you will need in order to claim your vehicle.

To claim your vehicle you will need the following:

  • Valid driver’s license and/or Government issued photo identification card

  • Proof of ownership – Vehicle registration, valid insurance

  • All fees are to be paid in Cash/Visa/MasterCard/Interac


If your vehicle was impounded under the vehicle impound program (30 days/60 days/90 days/120 days)

  • The first step to claiming your vehicle is the Vehicle Impound Release; to get this release you must sign the release forms at your local Motor Vehicle Branch.

  • The registered owner must be present at our office unless otherwise indicated from the vehicle release forms, you must bring your valid driver’s license and/or Government-issued photo identification card.

  • Proof of ownership – Vehicle registration, valid insurance

  • All fees are to be paid in Cash/Visa/Mastercard/Interac
